This Privacy Policy explains how Mudbug Software, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Mudbug Bourré (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
| Account information | Your email address, display name, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google account identifier. If you register with a password, we store a secure one-way hash of it — never the password itself. |
|---|---|
| Profile | An avatar you choose or upload (uploads are re-encoded and stored without their original metadata). |
| Gameplay | Your game and table activity, statistics, and Mudbug$ ledger (grants, purchases, buy-ins, settlements). |
| Payments | If you buy Mudbug$, our payment provider (Stripe) processes your card details. We do not receive or store your full card number. |
| Technical | IP address, browser/device information, and server logs, used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. |
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in (a signed session cookie) and to protect against cross-site request forgery. These are required for the Service to function; we do not use advertising cookies.
We use your information to provide and operate the Service: to authenticate you, run games, keep statistics and your Mudbug$ balance, process purchases, communicate with you (for example email verification and password resets), and to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed:
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service. Your display name and avatar are visible to other players at your table and in the lobby.
We keep your account and related information for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords, encrypted connections, and CSRF protection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may review or update your display name and avatar in your profile. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.
The Service is not directed to children and is intended only for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
